Sunset Lodge

Wake up to beautiful lake views & watch the most amazing sunsets in the Houston area at the Sunset Lodge! Located 30 min. from IAH airport on Lake Houston. Enjoy fishing on the dock, kayaking, soaking in the hot tub or just looking at the peaceful lake. Whether you want to unplug and relax - or be close to shopping, bars & restaurants - we have you covered! My home is at the end of a cul-de-sac in a very quiet neighborhood.

The space

Home features 2 spacious bedrooms plus a study (with futon), 2 full baths, gourmet kitchen with double ovens, desk space, & a spacious back deck with a full assortment of BBQ equipment. All of the bedrooms are upstairs and all bedrooms including the study have amazing lake views! Smart house with many modern features including voice control. One of the upstairs bedrooms and study both have balcony patio access. Please note I live in the home when it's not rented on Airbnb. As such - the master bedroom is locked off and the garage is not available. This is my peaceful lake retreat and I'm excited to share it with you! Two kayaks are also available if you would like to explore the Lake. You can swim from the dock, but no diving - you must use the stairs. Lake Houston is a hidden gem in the Houston area with many waterfront restaurants and lakeside activities!

Guest access

Guests have access to the entire house excluding the master bedroom and garage. The boat dock is available for fishing and you can tie your boat off at the dock. The boat lift is not available.

Other things to note

You can bring your boat! There is enough driveway parking to accommodate 3 vehicles plus a boat. While you can't put your boat in the lift at my house, there is a neighborhood boat ramp where you can put your boat in and tie off at my dock.
