Cozy Cottage

This cute cottage is conveniently located in Seabrook - halfway between Houston & Galveston. This sits on a property that is a little over a 1/2 acre. The main house is next door. The cottage is completely detached & has its own small fenced backyard. Feel like you're in the country yet just a hop & a skip to the highway. Guests love being so close to amazing restaurants, bars, live music, shops & beaches! It's a great "homebase" for your vacation or if you're traveling for work!

The space

This property is located in a nice quiet neighborhood that's great for walks and Seabrook's extensive trail system is 2 minutes away. The property feels nice and secluded and is a great place to relax! We are 5 minutes away from Seabrook's El Jardin Beach, and an easy 40 minute drive down to Galveston. I'm happy to provide suggestions for attractions in our area - there's so many to choose from!

One bedroom roomy apartment with a queen bed and futon in the bedroom sleeps up to 3. The living room has enough space for an air mattress if needed, or I can set up the futon for you in the living room as well. This totally private apartment is set up for short term or longer term stays with closet space, fully stocked kitchen and stacking washer/dryer. Nice open concept for kitchen and living room gives this apartment a very comfy, spacious feel. Please pay attention to the pictures - the toilet area in the bathroom is on the small & cozy side :). Designated parking space right in front of the apartment. Wifi is included and both TVs have Roku. There's a TV in the living room & 1 in the bedroom.

*This property accepts dogs on a case by case basis.* PLEASE NOTE - You must message me in advance if you want to bring your dog with you. There is an extra pet fee ($0 - $15/night pet fee depending on the size and # of dogs) and the cleaning fee is $100 (instead of $60). Airbnb has recently added a pet fee to their setup. Please do not use that feature - it's defaulted to $70. If you message me about your pet I will quote the pet fee for your stay. For small adult dogs that don't shed I typically only charge a nominal pet fee of $40.

**Also please note there is a train track about a mile from the house. There is a small potential for train/construction noise at night. It's not loud at all and hasn't bothered any guests, but I just want to make sure guests are aware.**

*Enjoy the entire apartment to yourself as well as your own small fenced backyard. The cottage backyard has it's own seating. But BONUS - just step thru the back gate and you are also welcome to enjoy the inground pool w/ waterfall and relaxing deck area that is common to the main house and the tiny house! The cottage backyard also has a gas grill. There are no other Airbnb guests on the property. We do live in the main house - but we work a lot and make sure our guests have plenty of time to enjoy the pool to themselves!
